Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl III starts today

Professional NFL players once again join Twitch streamers for charity.

With the Super Bowl approaching, soccer fever is at an all-time high, which is why Twitch Rivals is hosting the Streamer Bowl once again. Professional NFL players will partner up with Twitch streamers to compete in Fortnite for a share of the $1 million prize pool, which will be given to charity.

On Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 2:30 p.m. PT/5:30 p.m. ET, the Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl III Fortnite competition will take place. It will be broadcast exclusively on the Twitch Rivals channel, but if you don’t want to leave this website, you may watch it via the embed above.

The Streamer Bowl is back

Streamer Bowl III is an elimination-style Fortnite Battle Royale trios event for the uninitiated. Three-person teams comprising of a Twitch broadcaster, a professional NFL player, and a Twitch community champion will compete in the matches.

Four rounds of sessions will be held in a private lobby. Everyone will be competing for charity and bragging rights. Saquon Barkley (New York Giants) and Swagg, Kurt Benkert (Green Bay Packers) and Nickmercs, Christian McCaffrey (Carolina Panthers) and Elded as well as 17 other teams are competing.

The groups will gain points towards the final rankings for the prize fight at the end of each game. The following are the divisions of these points:

  • 1st place – 30
  • 2nd place – 26
  • 3rd place – 24
  • 4th place – 22
  • 5th place – 21
  • 6th place – 20
  • 7th place – 19
  • 8th place – 18
  • 9th place – 17
  • 10th place – 16
  • 11th place – 14
  • 12th place – 13
  • 13th place – 12
  • 14th place – 11
  • 15th place – 10
  • 16th place – 9
  • 17th place – 8
  • 18th-20th place – 5
