Team Summertime Call of Duty throwback tournament raises money for charity

Team Summertime is teaming up with Turtle Beach and Roccat for an invite-only Call of Duty: Black Ops II throwback tournament. Proceeds support charity.

The Team Summertime Black Ops II Finals takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28 at 3 PM Eastern. It features an eight-team matchup with legendary content creators and their hand-picked squads. Each team will then battle it out for the top positions on the leaderboard, the glory, and the ultimate prize – the bragging rights that come with victory.

Team captains include Dr Disrespect, CouRageJD, Scump, Aydan, Teepee, LuluLuvely, The Mob, and Pamaj. All proceeds from the Team Summertime Black Ops II Finals are donated to Movember to support suicide awareness and prevention.

Team Summertime is a popular stream team on YouTube. It is helmed by longtime friends turned full-time content creators Davis “Hitch” Edwards, Blake Cissel, and Jorge Estrada who have been playing Call of Duty for years. The group has recently been hosting throwback tournaments in anticipation of the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Fans who tune in to watch the action will have the opportunity to win all-new gear from Turtle Beach and Roccat. Prizes include the all-new Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 and Stealth 600 Gen 2 headsets for Xbox and PlayStation. They’re also giving away Roccat’s latest Elo Air 7.1 wireless PC gaming headset and the Vulcan Pro and Vulcan TKL Pro keyboards.
