Now PlayStation gamers are not the only ones able to stream from their console easily.
After months of collaboration with Twitch, Microsoft today revealed that players can now broadcast natively from their Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S consoles.
This functionality was previously present only on PlayStation consoles, which resulted in a significant increase in the number of people streaming on Twitch. Both Xbox and Twitch hope that this new partnership will attract more users to stream on the most popular platform for live online broadcasts.
Start streaming in a few steps
It’s quite simple to sign up for Twitch and begin streaming. Select “Live Streaming” from the “Capture and Share” option in the tutorial on your Xbox console. You may link your Twitch account by scanning the QR code with your phone or going to the URL on your computer or phone.
Select “Stream live now” when your account has been properly linked to make your game accessible on the Stream channel. That’s all there is to it! It doesn’t get much more straightforward than that.
Stream in high quality from your console
Also, if you want to broadcast your voice and image, you must first connect your headset and webcam before going to the settings panel and setting up the stream. Because Microsoft has incorporated the option to regulate game and microphone audio settings, as well as enable group chat and even manually set the resolution and bitrate, this can be done and broadcast at excellent quality.
You’ll also be able to switch games quickly. If you’re in the middle of a stream and wish to play a game other than the one you started with, your Xbox will show a pause screen until you start the game you want to play and stream.
You’ve taken another step toward generating your own content. Many streamers who now have hundreds of thousands of Twitch viewers began broadcasting from their PlayStation 4 only a few years ago. If you’re an Xbox gamer who doesn’t have access to a computer to stream, you may now do it directly from your console.
