Joy Ride Turbo is a kart racing game from developer Big Park. It was released on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 back in 2012. Let’s try it out!
The game got a second lease on life when Microsoft added it to its Xbox Live Games with Gold lineup. It was also among the first backward-compatible Xbox 360 games running on Xbox One.
I didn’t play the game when it first came out, so I decided to give it a spin. As you can see from my playthrough, it’s an arcade-style kart racer. The game actually comes from the creators of Kinect Joy Ride.
This game isn’t going to win any awards, but I could see young players enjoying it. It supports split-screen for up to four players, so parents and kids can play with each other.
Joy Ride Turbo is free with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or you can get the game through the Microsoft Store. It retails for $9.99.
