Here’s our experience with the first minutes of Forza Horizon 5.
Forza Horizon is a series of games that since its first edition became one of the best arcade driving games in the industry. Not only for its gameplay, which usually stands out for its flashes of simulation that we can see playing, but for the graphics, atmosphere, and modeling of the different collections of cars that we have had in each installment.
Today we bring you our first impressions of the new installment in the series, Forza Horizon 5. We’ll walk through the first minutes of the game, test the photo mode, and also try out the character creation tool.
First minutes
Once again, we will visit a new location. In this installment, we will live a very different experience from the previous installments in Mexico. A location that has been adapted to the frenetic action that Forza Horizon presents us from the beginning, where we are introduced to the different types of vehicles and circuits that we will experience throughout the adventure.
The first 8 minutes of the game let us know that we are playing one of the best installments of the series for everything it offers and how well implemented that this environment is with the action of the game. It is one of the best starts of the series. It invites players to continue enjoying the game organically, encouraging them with new cars, wheelspins, money, and more.
Into The Storm Mission (Photo Mode)
Thanks to the new changes in the environment that Forza Horizon 5 offers, players will test the photo mode at an incredible level. The Into The Storm mission puts us in front of a giant sandstorm driving the Gladiator Rubicon, where we must find a sunken structure in the sand and take a photo. The photo mode once again proves that these tools are getting better and better, to the point that the photo modes of current games look like photos taken in real life. Once again, Forza Horizon surprises.
Character Creation Tool
In this new release, we are presented with an improved character creation tool, where we have a wider catalog of options. As we can see in the video, faces, hairstyles, clothes, skin color, gender, and more are available to customize our character. If you are one of those who like to customize their characters to the max, this edition of Forza Horizon 5 will allow you more options to do so, although it’s not the deepest character creator we’ve ever tried.
These first minutes of the game, along with the improvement of the game tools, allow us to get an idea of what awaits us in Forza Horizon 5. Needless to say, it looks incredible. We can’t wait to play more.
We followed the in-game adventure, and despite some minor glitches, the gameplay experience is very similar to that of Forza Horizon 4 with more polish, allowing for an incredible gaming experience.
